Fixed-Based Operator
According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation
Administration, a fixed-base operator (FBO) is a commercial business granted
the right by an airport to operate on airport grounds and provide aeronautical
services such as plane storage, tie-down and parking, aircraft rental and not
limited to fueling, aircraft maintenance, flight instruction, etc. We plan on
operating Keahole FBO I LLC as a primary provider of support services to
exclusive aviation operators at Keahole Airport (KOA) located on airport
leasehold property at the south end of the airport where private plane parking
on an open tarmac stretches along the main Taxiway, and at times private
aircrafts are very close to the landing commercial planes on their taxi to the
terminal.
